A lot of companies will tell you how much they care about the planet, their people, and their products, but let's be honest – they don't always walk the walk. We didn't want to be like your toxic ex, promising the world and then ghosting, so we made a vow: whatever we say, we'll do. Simple.
If we say we care about people, we do - ensuring we go above and beyond to make sure the team and guests are having the best time and creating spaces for growth, all while having some fun and slinging damn good pizza.
When we say we care for the planet, it's more than talk. We're setting up processes to be better – doing our bit to lower our impact whilst growing a community of link-minded people.
And when we say we care about the business, that means we strive to work with other like-minded companies to bring you the best, quality products, even if it costs us a bit more (worth it though, every time!).
The result of this commitment? In February 2024, we became a certified B-Corp baby!
So, what does it mean to be B-Corp certified?
To become a B Corp we had to go through a rigorous process, where we were evaluated on our social and environmental performance, accountability, and most importantly, transparency.
B Lab, the global non-profit behind it, recognises businesses that balance purpose and profit. It shows we're committed to high standards and keeps us accountable. Plus, by being one of the first in the UK in our industry, we hope to inspire other like-minded pals to join the conscious crew.
