At Pizza Pilgrims we’re all about making people happier one pizza at the time. And this starts with our team. 

We created the "Happiness Day". Everyone gets one. It’s an extra day of (paid!) holiday that we give to our team, every year. The only condition – our team have to spend it doing something they love. That they enjoy themselves doing, something that actually, makes THEM happy.

Our Happiness Day scheme has been running for over six years, and we’ve lost count of all the good things we’ve seen. 

From getting married, to adopting a puppy; enjoying a trip in hot air balloon or going to Legoland with their toddler; from graduations to travelling, running a marathon, going to festivals or live shows.

The list goes on, and it makes a point: happiness looks and feels different to everyone. If our people are having a great time and feeling good, everything else follows.
